Eye Exams

At C Klear Vision Optique we not only perform eye exams, but the full spectrum of eye care is offered to patients of all ages, from children to older adults.  Look to our optometrist as your source for all eye care needs. We provide specialized support with advanced technology for a wide array of issues, some of which are listed below:

  • Comprehensive Eye Exams

Various problems can be spotted with a comprehensive eye exam.  This examination encompasses the determination of any vision needs (see astigmatism and presbyopia below) and ocular health issues to provide each patient with a customized plan of care.

    • Astigmatism Diagnosis & Treatment

Astigmatism is a very common eye condition pertaining to the shape of the cornea or crystalline lens that can be easily corrected with eyeglasses, contact lenses, and on some occasions, refractive surgery.

    • Presbyopia Diagnosis and Treatment

Particularly after age 40, it is common to start to experience difficulty with reading and performing other tasks that require near vision. With age, the lens of our eye becomes increasingly inflexible, making it harder to focus on close objects. This condition is called presbyopia and eventually it happens to everyone as they age, even if they never required glasses before.

  • Pediatric Eye Exams

Dr. Watson are very passionate about pediatric eye health and wellness.  Dr. Arnold especially enjoys seeing children.

  • Dry Eye Syndrome and Treatment

Dry eye syndrome (DES) is a chronic condition that develops when your eyes do not produce and/or do not maintain enough tears to keep the eye’s surface lubricated.  DES often causes ocular discomfort, vision fluctuations, and intolerance to contact lenses.  Individualized treatment plans are necessary to correctly manage this condition.

  • Management of Systemic Diseases and Ocular Diseases

Systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and other autoimmune disorders can cause issues with one’s ocular health. These disease processes are potentially sight-threatening, so early detection is key to allow for a better long-term prognosis.  We diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Cataracts.

  • Ocular Emergencies

Optometrists specialize in managing pink/red eyes, eye pain, ocular foreign bodies, and acute vision disturbances.  Instead of going to an urgent care or emergency room, visit us!

  • LASIK & Refractive Surgery Co-Management

At your wits end with your glasses or contacts?  We can offer an alternative solution!  Refractive surgeries such as LASIK and cataract extraction may be an option.  Look to us as your co-management resource. According to Dr. Watson:

“Giving patients all of the vision correction options available to them is of the utmost importance to allow each patient to individually determine what correction option best fits their needs, desires, and lifestyle. Although refractive surgery is not for every person, it can be an absolute life-changer for those who make the educated decision to proceed with it. I am simply here to be your educator.”
